Over the years I’ve heard It must be nice to work from home, or You don’t have as much stress because you don’t have to go to an office, and so on. I took offense to it at first, but then I stopped putting any effort into what somebody’s saying that’s clueless.
We have some of the toughest obstacles in our way ☞ We have to self-motivate and keep focused with some of the biggest temptations around. We have to be the sales guy chasing green, the one executing the work, the manager, HR, accountant, web guy and so forth. It’s not easy working from home, and I think that whoever says it is, either hasn’t done it at all, or has done it for a hot second.
On and off I’ve been working from home for 10+ years. Back in 2010 when I started my social media marketing business, it started from my studio. Nowadays while blogging and making videos for you, I get to work from anywhere there’s wifi, but mother ship is home. That’s where I write most of my content, film and edit. It's gotten easier over the years, but the challenges are still there.
So I’m very familiar with the tribulations -and- the rewards; because truth is – if you love what you do, all the roadblocks are exciting challenges for the most part.
Today I wanted to share some proven tips to effectively work from home – to increase your productivity and elevate your time management, multi tasking, self-management and concentration skills.
