I shave in order to more deeply exfoliate the skin and remove peach fuzz.
Products used after shaving can penetrate the skin deeper as well, and makeup goes on so much smoother for me too, as a result of doing this. I'm not here to say that you should be doing it too, I just want to share what I do and what has worked for me.

❗️KEY THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW❗️
?Try shaving on DRY skin to avoid unnecessary dryness or sensitivity.
?Consider using a men’s razor because they are really sharp and created specifically for the face. Their razors can help lower the chance of any irritation or ingrown hairs happening.
?While shaving can have amazing skin-smoothing benefits, it CAN potentially cause ingrown hairs. TO HELP AVOID THAT: pull the skin and shave in the same direction as the hair grows (typically downward), try not to go over the same area more than twice & use an electronic face brush (Clarisonic for example) on a weekly basis.
?ALWAYS shave with a razor dedicated to the face (not used on any other part of the body) & sanitize it before each use.
?NEVER shave when having active acne. NEVER. I don’t just shave around active pimples when I have them, I don’t shave AT ALL.
?Hair doesn’t grow back darker/coarser, that’s a myth. Shaving has NO effect on the speed of regrowth, thickness or color. My hair feels slightly more stubbly when it first grows out, but if I stop shaving, it will look and feel like normal. Here is an article about this worth reading and here's what Scientific American says too.
?How often do you have to do this? I shave once or twice a week, as part of my anti-aging routine. Most weeks it's just once.

DIY✨RECIPE:
1 tablespoon Jojoba oil
1 tablespoon Grapeseed oil
5 drops Lavender oil
5 drops Geranium oil
5 drops Tea Tree oil

If you're not a big fan of heavy oils, you can always add a little distilled water to thin.

My shaving cream is this one.

It’s packed with natural shea butter, vitamins B3, C & E, green tea and grape seed extract + enriched with aloe and oat extract.

Can be used all over the body, on wet or dry skin. I always shave on dry.

Disclaimer: I am an eos partner, but they did NOT sponsor this YouTube video. I chose to post this, because their shave cream is genuinely part of my routine and I love it.
