I’ve been getting questions about the way I take care of my skin, especially after some internet friends saw one of the videos where I shared a glimpse into the way my skin WAS. In a video I made during the beta testing of this channel I shared more, but in essence… I had really bad acne. My skin was pretty darn bad… so bad that no topical cream could do anything for me and pills did little to help. I had to be on Isotretinoin (Accutane) not once, but TWICE to help make it better.
You know what kind of toll that can takes on your body? The joint aches, the back spasms, depression episodes and lips chapped like I lived in the Arctic.
Anyway, in gratitude of the way my skin looks now, I choose to look at that time as the opportunity I had to learn SO MUCH about skincare, acne, and how to properly take care of the ONE face we were given.
My nighttime routine is not for the faint of heart! Then again… if we cannot invest 10-15 minutes at night to care for that one face we have, then what the hell are we going to do when time and the signs of aging hit us like a brick wall?
Luckily I don’t have to convince you, because I believe that if you’re part of this community, you and me have the burning desire to live a better life and take better care of ourselves, so you’re probably a beauty lover not afraid to do what it takes to achieve your goals and purpose.
