This week is SPECIAL because:
1. Today’s topic is an issue I’ve personally struggled with most of my adult life, as so do many millions of people around the world.
2. It’s the launch of a new giveaway and that’s super exciting because it’s a great opportunity to make other people happy, feel that elevated energy, while hopefully introducing more amazing souls to the work that we do here.
Content development for this week was emotional.
Acne affects people regardless of age, gender or race. I know first hand what kind of toll it takes not only physically, but emotionally and psychologically. You feel “ugly”. Self-conscious. You always think people are staring at you. You very rarely forget about it and feel comfortable in public. Previous surveys have shown that a high number of acne-sufferers feel depressed and even suicidal.
Facial scarring as a result of acne affects up to 20% of the people. That means almost a quarter of the population (on top of the ones currently suffering of acne) will have to deal with the damage left behind for a long time. In some cases – for the rest of their lives.
The American Dermatologist Association finds that 20% of all adults have active acne. Those are big numbers! And acne treating is a big business too! It’s estimated that the global acne market will go well over 3 billion dollars this year.
– so I need to stop with all the statistics, because it really breaks my heart to know how many people have to deal with this, and frankly it’s kind of getting to me. Time for me to go to my little meadow if you’ve read the tips about taking things personally.
I’ve spent countless hours thinking of everything I’ve learned about dealing with acne, and putting it on paper; organizing the chaotic thoughts in my head that wanted to come out and be shared. They are ideas and suggestions that will help and show you how to get rid of acne naturally. There is absolute hope! Absolutely!
