VIDEO – Food Control Tips
It's that time again, I'm so happy to be here with you! Welcome back :)
This week's video is part of the Fashion and Beauty category, and we'll talk about how to control our appetite. Like with all my categories, I was torn about which topic to choose as the very first one. In the end, I decided to stay true to what's most of interest to me, and that's weight loss management, food and diet.
Unfortunately, I've been addicted to bad, greasy foods my entire life. Not to mention, I'm a Romanian American: we practically eat Everything with bread. You know that fat from the pig that most people throw away? We use it as butter and spread it over bread. Enough said!
Throughout my teens and early 20's, I had an incredibly fast metabolism, I would comfortably eat about 3-4,000 calories a day, and not gain more than 1-2 pounds in a month. I wasn't exercising either. I was totally that bitch we can't stand! Sadly, that time came to an end for me back when I turned 26. It was like going from a Bugatti Veyron, cruising at over 200 miles per hour, to a Volkswagen Rabbit. That pretty much sums it up. And I couldn't help but ask: What the hell happened? How do I lose weight?
So I've had to adjust. Massively! And it's been really, really hard. Especially since I have the taste of fast food tattooed on every taste bud. I've tried everything! Crash diets, taking diet pills like QuickTrim, using meal plans like Nutrisystem, yet I couldn't lose the weight I was gaining so fast, even when I was eating less than 1,400 calories per day, which in my scenario should mean weight loss. Then I said, OK let me start doing some exercise. 6 days a week still wasn't doing the trick.
So then I threw my hands up in the air. I sort of gave up, because I didn't think that any diet plan will work for me. Instead, I decided to make little lifestyle changes and not be so obsessed. Sure enough, that's when the weight slowly started coming off, and I haven't been yo-yo'ing since.
In this video, I will share with you my daily food control tips. Little things that I do, that help with my weight management and weight loss. I hope you'll find as much value in them as I do.
